Grange Farm Leisure: Coronavirus/Covid -19 Policy
18th March 2020
As the Coronavirus moves increasingly into all areas of our lives, I would like to take this opportunity to let you know that we are doing all that we can to ensure we can deliver the ongoing events with minimal interruption.
Grange Farm Leisure Ltd is, and will continue to follow the advice issued by the UK Government and its health advisors for employees and event protocol. It is very difficult to give a definitive position at this stage because the advice we are receiving is changing on a daily basis. However, we would like to reassure you that we are operating an ‘open diary’ policy at this time and are working to roll forward all bookings and payments to new dates wherever possible.
We are also working closely with our extensive list of partners and suppliers to ensure we have the support in place to continue without compromise during, and after, these unprecedented times.
During the intervening period, if a member of our team has knowingly come into contact with, or shows symptoms of the coronavirus infection, however mild, they will be asked to stay at home and self-isolate as per UK Government guidelines.
To further combat the spread of the disease and the need for self-isolation, we are working to ensure all sensible steps are taken by our team and encouraged of our guests to reduce the chances of infection. These include:
· Awareness of recent travel movements
· Regular and proper handwashing
· Access to appropriate alcohol hand gels
· Limiting touches to the face
· An awareness of their proximity to others
· No handshake policy for meetings
· The disinfection of highly used surfaces – something we already intensively action
In addition to these steps we continue to closely monitor all guidance issued and adapt these measures where necessary.
With specific reference to planned meetings in the normal course of business, we will update you in advance of any change to our coronavirus status prior to your/our attendance at our/your premises. We will enquire as to your current status also and thereafter; continue as planned, rearrange to a new date, or continue via other means, i.e. telephone or skype.
As we write today, whilst live events are significantly reduced in number, we would like to reassure all of our clients that we are very much operating as close to ‘business as usual’ and will continue to do so until such time as we are following advice to the contrary. We are working from the office and home environments, as appropriate, to be on hand to answer your every question.
We will continue to update this policy and our actions in accordance with new and evolving advice and requirements from the UK Government and their advisors.
With best wishes,
Charlotte Hollis
